Sarvodaya Vidyalaya organised an informative session on “Understanding AI – Using It Safely and Responsibly” on 1 October 2026 at the Mar Gregorios Auditorium for students of Classes IX to XII.

The session was led by Ms. Abhirami J Subash, an alumna and former Head Girl of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Batch of 2022, who is currently pursuing BA LLB (Hons.) at NLSIU.

The session aimed to help students develop a better understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its responsible use. With AI becoming an increasingly important part of education and everyday life, the programme emphasised the need to use emerging technologies thoughtfully, safely and ethically.

The interaction also encouraged students to think critically about their engagement with AI and to recognise the importance of responsible digital practices while making effective use of the opportunities offered by technology.

It was particularly meaningful to welcome back an alumna of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya to share her knowledge and perspectives with the present generation of students, reinforcing the strong bond between the school and its alumni.
