Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Trivandrum, officially inaugurated Sarvotsavam 2K26, the school’s much-awaited annual cultural festival, on 16 July 2026 at the Mar Gregorios Auditorium. The event marked the beginning of a vibrant celebration of students’ artistic talents, creativity, and cultural excellence.

The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song by the School Choir, followed by the welcome address by Ms. Bhadrapriya Anishkumar, Cultural Captain. Mr. John Kurian, Principal, delivered the Presidential Address, encouraging students to participate wholeheartedly and use the cultural festival as a platform to discover and showcase their talents while upholding the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The formal inauguration took place with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Ms. Joslin Mariam John (RJ, Mathrubhumi Club FM Radio) inaugurated the festival and inspired the students through her inaugural address, motivating them to express themselves confidently through art and culture.

Rev. Fr. Abraham Uzhathil, Bursar, felicitated the gathering and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the students, teachers, and organizing committee in making the event possible. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Ardra Suresh A. S., Vice Captain.

Sarvotsavam 2K26 promises to be a memorable celebration, providing students with numerous opportunities to exhibit their talents across a wide range of cultural events while strengthening the spirit of unity and creativity within the Sarvodaya family.
