Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Conducts General Parent-Teacher Meeting for Classes V–XII
Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Mar Ivanios Vidyanagar, Nalanchira, conducted its General Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for parents of students from Classes V to XII on 11 July 2026 at the Mar Gregorios Auditorium. The meeting served as a platform to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in nurturing the holistic growth of students.
The programme commenced with a motivational address by Mr. Moncy Varghese, renowned HRD Trainer, Public Speaker, Author, and Career Consultant, who inspired parents with valuable insights on positive parenting, student motivation, and preparing children for future challenges.
Rev. Fr. Abraham Uzhathil, Bursar, delivered an insightful session on child development and effective parenting, emphasizing the importance of emotional support, discipline, and the collective responsibility of nurturing every child. He reminded the gathering that parents, students, teachers, and the management together form the Sarvodaya Family, and that only through mutual trust, unity, and cooperation can children grow into responsible, compassionate, and successful individuals.
Principal Mr. John Kurian presented a comprehensive overview of the school’s remarkable achievements during the previous academic year, highlighting the institution’s excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, sports, and student accomplishments. He also outlined the school’s vision and priorities for the current academic year.
An interactive question-and-answer session followed, during which Principal Mr. John Kurian and Rev. Fr. Abraham Uzhathil addressed the queries and concerns raised by parents, reaffirming the school’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and the holistic development of every student.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of unity, reinforcing the vision of Sarvodaya as one family— where parents, students, teachers, and the management work together towards the shared goal of shaping confident, value-based, and future-ready individuals.
