In observance of National Doctor’s Day, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, Nalanchira, organized “MED TALK”, an informative seminar aimed at promoting health awareness and inspiring students to appreciate the invaluable contributions of medical professionals.

The programme commenced with a prayer by the School Choir, followed by a welcome address by School Prefect Ms. Veda M. G. Principal Mr John Kurian delivered the key note address and emphasised the significance of Doctor’s Day. The session was led by Dr. Mili Thomas, Senior Consultant Paediatrician at Ananthapuri Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram. During her engaging and insightful session, Dr. Thomas explained the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and elaborated on the precautions that everyone should take to prevent the spread of common viral diseases. Her practical health tips and awareness on preventive care were well received by the students and staff.

The gathering was further enriched by a felicitation from Ms. Silpa Mary Boby, Mathrubhumi SEED Coordinator, who appreciated the school’s initiative in observing National Doctor’s Day. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by School Prefect Ms. Fency S.
