The KG Section of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya celebrated KUDOS ’26 – the 54th Annual Athletic Meet on 17th September 2026, with great enthusiasm, energy and sporting spirit.

The occasion was graced by Shri Rakesh K. G., Indian International Volleyball Player, as the Guest of Honour. His presence added inspiration and significance to the event, encouraging the young participants to embrace sports with confidence, discipline and enthusiasm.

The opening ceremony began with the assembly of participants, followed by the arrival of the Guest of Honour and the lively Spot March by the Little Champions. The KG Choir led the gathering in prayer, and Principal Mr. John Kurian delivered the welcome address.

The Guest of Honour hoisted the flag and formally declared the meet open. This was followed by the lighting of the torch by Principal Mr. John Kurian, oath taking and a colourful Mass Drill by the KG students.

The sporting events that followed provided the little athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their energy, coordination, confidence and team spirit. More than competition, KUDOS ’26 celebrated participation, sportsmanship and the joy of being active.

The event truly reflected its spirit — “A Day of Tiny Steps, Big Dreams & Happy Champions.”
