Examinations & Promotions

  • There will be monthly examinations in addition to the termly examinations. The classes of LKG and UKG will have only three termly examinations.
  • Each term examination will be based on the portions that are taught in that particular term. 
  • The Model Examination for STD 10 ICSE and 12 ISC will be based on the complete syllabus as prescribed by the Board of CISCE. Similarly, the Model Examinations for STD 10 SSLC and 12 HSE will be based on the complete syllabus as prescribed by the State Department of Education and the Higher Secondary Board of Kerala.
  • The Annual Examination of STD 9 ICSE and 11 ISC will be based on the Syllabus prescribed by the Board of CISCE.Monthly tests will be conducted in addition to the term examinations forall classes.
  • Term Examinations will be based on the portions taught during the respective terms. Selected portions from each term will be included inthe Annual Examination.
  • The Model Examinations for STD XII ISC and X ICSE will be based on the entire syllabus prescribed by CISCE. Model Examinations for STD X SSLC and XII HSE will be based on the complete syllabus as prescribed
    by the State Department of Education and the Higher Secondary Boardof Kerala.
  • The Annual Examinations of STD IX ICSE and XI ISC will be based on the Syllabus prescribed by CISCE.
  • The students are strictly forbidden to borrow stationery from other students in the examination hall.
  • The Parents are advised to watch the progress of their children closely, consult the teachers and take their advice accordingly.
  • The answer scripts of all the examinations other than the Annual Examination will be sent to the parents for their scrutiny and signature.
  • All questions hence forth will be application level and textual questions will be asked for all classes. Parents should encourage children to develop textual learning.
  • Promotion to higher classes will be finalized after strictly monitoring the performance of the students throughout the academic year.
  • Results are published at the end of every academic year and are final. Results of the defaulters in the tuition fee will be withheld.
  • Students in the ICSE stream should score above 33% of marks in each subject to pass the examinations.
  • Students in the ISC stream should score above 35% of marks in a minimum of 4 subjects including English to pass the examination.
  • An attendance of 80% is compulsory to appear for the Final Examination.
  • Students should use only transparent pouches, water bottles & writing boards for the exams.
