On the occasion of World Environment Day, June 5, 2025, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya launched a meaningful tree plantation drive under the banner “Leaf-A-Legacy”. The initiative aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and sustainability among students and staff.

The event began with the symbolic planting of mango tree saplings by:
• Prof. Dr. Shirley Stewart, Principal
• Rev. Fr. John Muruppel, Bursar
• Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Valiachangeveettil, Vice Principal, Mar Ivanios College

Joining them in this green mission were the Environment and Eco Club Coordinators, NCC cadets, Nallapaadam Coordinators, Students and Animators. Their active participation reflected the school’s ongoing commitment to protecting nature and inspiring future generations to care for the planet.

With every sapling planted, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya reaffirmed its vision of creating a greener, healthier future — one leaf at a time.
