Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Trivandrum, accorded a warm and heartfelt welcome to the newly admitted students of Class XI ISC and HSE on 8th June 2026 at the Mar Gregorios Auditorium. The programme was organized to familiarize students and parents with the academic environment, values, and opportunities that await them as they embark on a new phase of their educational journey.

The event commenced with a prayer song by the School Choir, invoking God’s blessings upon the students and the institution. Dr. Tara Ramachandran Pillai delivered the welcome address and extended a cordial greeting to the students and their parents.

The gathering was then inspired by an enlightening message delivered by Rev. Fr. Johnson Puthuvelil, Bursar of Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya, who encouraged the students to pursue excellence with dedication, discipline, and strong moral values. This was followed by a motivational address by Mr. Praveen Kamalamma, Career Counsellor and Leadership Trainer, who shared valuable insights on goal setting, personal growth, and making informed career choices.

Addressing the parents and students, Principal Mr. John Kurian highlighted the vision and mission of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya and emphasized the importance of academic commitment, character formation, and holistic development. He encouraged the students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution and strive for excellence in all spheres of life.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Vice Principal Mrs. Terine Joseph, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished speakers, parents, students, and staff members for their presence and support.

The welcome programme served as an inspiring beginning for the new batch of ISC and HSE students, setting the tone for a productive and enriching academic journey at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya.
