Issue of application form for admission to STD XI-HSE started from 29th June 2020.
Annual Residential Camp of Scouts & Guides, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya was conducted from 1-3 of November 2019. On the first day after the registration Mrs. Thresiamma the ward counsellor, Nalanchira inaugurated the camp. Our principal Rev. Fr. George Mathew Karoor hoisted the flag of Scouts & Guides and released the leaflet for the project “CLEAN CITY FOR A BETTER FUTURE”. The students from classes 7 to 12 contributed their ideas and it was consolidated into a leaflet. 42 Scouts & Guides attended the camp. They were arranged in patrol wise to make them aware about the responsibilities of unit and its activities. The patrol system gives an opportunity to be an active member to speak, to lead activities and to achieve the motto ‘Be Prepared’. Mrs.Veena M, an Environmental Educationist has taken classes about “Waste Management” by highlighting the motto ‘Reduce, Recycle, Reuse’. She has given guidance to the children how to preserve seeds by placing it inside a mixture of sand, cow dung powder and water and to make seed balls and throw/plant in barren places while travelling. Mr. Binoy Wilson the Scout Master and Mrs. Lauretta Nettar the Guide Captain took the following sessions:- Flag ceremony, Troop meeting, Marching and Pioneering classes, Stages and fundamentals of Scouting and Guiding, BP’s 6 exercise etc. Each patrol kept the living areas and surroundings neat and tidy. They were assigned food duty at breakfast, lunch and dinner and they helped in distribution of foods and keeping the dining area clean. Also they were taken in charge of all ceremonies during the camp days – Flag ceremony, Camp fire opening and closing, All faith prayer etc. On both nights children enjoyed camp fire. While the opening ceremony, Scout master Mr. Binoy Wilson and Guide captain Mrs. Lauretta Nettar lighted the camp fire. All patrol groups did performance like dance, skit, songs, patrol yells etc. Also they presented daily news. As a part of outdoor activity scout & guides went for hiking and visited houses in Chencherry Lane. Students actively participated and they briefed and distributed leaflets regarding ‘Proper Waste Management in Our Home’. On November 3rd 2019 Sunday morning, had All Faith Prayer. Read verses from Bible, Koran and Bhagavat Gita. Also sang religious songs. Camp came to an end at 2pm on 3rd November 2019. Scouts & Guides gathered before the flag post and shared their experiences. Scout Master, Guide Captain, Rovers Mr. Anand and Mr. Vijay, representatives from each patrol shared their experiences and views about the camp and thank almighty God for keeping us safe throughout the camp. A special rain claps given to principal Rev. Fr. George Mathew Karoor, Bursar Fr. Koshy Chirakkarottu and chief animator Mrs. Terine Joseph for their care, guidance and support. Camp dispersed after giving left hand shake to all.   Kids day (Little stars 2019)
Commemorating the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India -Pandit Jawaharlal Lal Nehru, Sarvodya Vidyalaya celebrated Kids Day with much pomp and zeal. The day was made special with the different scintillating performances by our younglings. The Principal Rev. Fr. George Mathew Karoor delivered the Welcome Speech. In the speech he welcomed all the invitees to witness our kids’ talents and blessed them to reach the heights. The Chief Guest of the day was Honourable mayor of Trivandrum Sri. K.Sreekumar. In his Inaugural Address the guest shared his feel of being a happy father as his children were the students of our school. He wished the students to have a happy and peaceful life. We had a special invitee Ms. Manju Pathros (cine artist).She entertained the audience with a beautiful song. The inaugural function was followed by the wonderful performances by our students. The programme witnessed appreciable team work of our teachers and students. The Bursar Rev. Fr. Koshy Chirakkarotte felicitated the event. He congratulated our students for their efforts and fabulous performances that made the day a memorable one.
